Church: Church of San Giobbe

The commissioners of this work were probably part of the confraternity devoted to the Saint Job’s school dating back to 1383 with the help from a benefactor still unidentified to this day, even though he left his coat of ams with a horse on the altar.

It replaces the piece by Giovanni Bellini and depicts the Virgin Mary with Child on the Throne, three Musical Angels and Saints Francesco, Giovanni Battista, Giobbe, Domenico, Sebastiano, and Ludovico (1479-1487).
