The completion of the sacristy covers a period of time from 1546 to 1555, the date when the grand castone or ceiling structure was ready host Paolo Veronese’s works of art. Displayed in one of the cherubs’ books is an inscription with the concluding date, 23rd November, 1555.
The two cherub couples carry stone tablets with inscriptions that invite Mary to recieve the glorification again, the other two respectively, carry a book, the larger is the Old Testament and the smaller one is the New Testement.
