Century: XVI°

Church: Church of the Santissimo Redentore

DATE:  XVI century

POSITION: sacristy on the right – entrance wall –

The four panels (originally eight), in identical form and dimension, represent events tied to the Eucharistical theme: The Fall of Manna, The Loaves of the Proposition, Last Supper, and Supper at Emmaus.

The fifth, which has been lost, illustrated the Resurrection and was inserted on the rear side of the current altar; today the piece has been replaced by a copy.

The panels, along with the other three which have been lost, adorn the sixteenth-century altar realized in carved wood with golden foliage and swags, held up by four angels.
